Giles Agricultural Park Offers Many Uses
The Giles County Agri-Park is a public county-owned park, administered by a non-profit Board. The mission of the Giles County Agri-Park is to provide a venue for celebrating agricultural history, promote agricultural enterprise, and encourage youths in agricultural pursuits. The Agri-Park is dedicated to preserving our rich agricultural heritage, promoting responsible land stewardship, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our community.
The Agri-Park Board administers the park in partnership with Giles County; the civics clubs chartered to serve on the Board include the Cattleman’s Association, the Civitan Club, the Lion’s Club, and Rotary Club.
The Board allows both Volunteer Hall and the Livestock Barn to be rented to Giles County residents for 1/2-day and full-day increments. The Agri-Park facilities provide an ideal location for corporate events, family reunions, cattle shows, vintage equipment and car shows, festivals, agricultural and horticultural activities, and more. To make reservations please bring the completed reservation form along with your payment to the front office of the County Executive (2nd floor of the Annex). At this time the only payment we are able to accept is cash or check.
Walking Trail
The Walking Trail at Giles County Agri-Park is open for public use from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. The trail is 750′ around, so walking it 7 times makes a mile.
